Vivek Madappa is a co-founder of Humming Bird Corporate Travel & Stay Pvt Ltd . He has over 15 years of experience at ICI, Marico, SmithKline Beecham, Wipro & Tata Tetley. He specialized in New Product launches & brand turn around. Some of the successful & award winning brands he managed were Saffola, Iodex, netKracker (Wipro) and Tetley.

Vivek has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Govt College of Technology, Coimbatore and an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai.

Vivek's interests include wildlife photography, scuba diving, adventure sport & promoting entrepreneurship.

Vinod Thimmaya
Director

Vinod Thimmaya is a co-founder of Humming Bird Corporate Travel & Stay Pvt Ltd . Vinod worked in Countrywide (a GE Company) in business development and with Modi Xerox in the sales function; where, he has to his credit the achievement of being a member of their top performers club for 6 consecutive years. He ventured into entrepreneurship when Standard Chartered Bank started its DSA operations in India and went on to become one of the largest DSAs in India. His company was rated the best managed company amongst the SCB franchisee. In addition, his company was a franchisee for a number of large names like HDFC Bank, Thomas Cook, AVECO, Metlife, & TATA Indicom.

His specialises in consultative selling, negotiations, training & strategic alliances. In true bootstrapping style teaming with his brother Vivek, the duo started HB with an initial investment of just Rs.3 lacs of their personal investment. Vinod has featured in DARE magazine(march2011) among top 50 top inspiring entrepreneurs in India.

Vinod has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore and an MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai.
